Your Fall + Winter Skincare Game Plan: The Treatments I’d Do Right Now

Fall is here, the holidays are creeping up, and if you’ve been thinking about getting your skin back on track, now is the time.

I love fall and winter for skincare because we can shift our focus from simply maintaining your skin to doing more corrective, regenerative and rejuvenating treatments.

Less intense sun exposure means we can safely get deeper with certain treatments, focus on collagen renewal, pigmentation, texture and overall skin health — and start building the kind of skin you want to see before holidays and next spring

So, if you asked me, “What skincare services would you do right now?” these would be at the top of my list.

1. A Series of Korean Luxe Facials

If you're looking for rejuvenation without committing to a major amount of downtime, this is where I would start.

Our Korean Luxe Facial combines advanced Korean skincare technology with treatments designed to support hydration, circulation, collagen renewal and overall skin regeneration.

One of my favorite options is incorporating spicule rejuvenation technology.

Spicules are microscopic structures that create controlled stimulation within the skin, helping to encourage renewal while allowing us to deliver powerful ingredients deeper into the skin.

This can be an incredible option for:

  • Skin firmness and lifting

  • Collagen renewal

  • Texture

  • Fine lines

  • Hydration

  • Overall skin rejuvenation

You can do these treatments throughout the year, but fall and winter are a great time to commit to a series because we're generally dealing with less intense sun exposure.

Think of this as your consistent, progressive approach to better skin rather than waiting until two weeks before an event.

Results from a korean Lux protocol:

2. Microneedling + PDRN Salmon DNA

If your goal is deep collagen restoration and rejuvenation, microneedling is one of my favorite treatments.

Microneedling creates controlled micro-injuries in the skin to stimulate the body's natural collagen and elastin response.

And yes — we can take it beyond just the face.

Depending on your needs, we can work into areas like the neck and décolleté as well.

We can also incorporate PDRN, or salmon DNA, into your treatment protocol to support the skin's recovery and regenerative process.

Fall and winter are ideal for this type of corrective treatment because you're not immediately heading into high-sun-exposure months.

And because healing doesn't stop when you leave our treatment room, we send you home with a restorative mask to help support your skin during the recovery process.

This is a treatment I would absolutely consider doing as a series if collagen remodeling, firmness, fine lines or overall skin rejuvenation are your goals.

3. The Perfect Derma Peel

Want a more intensive peel that actually gives you some visible shedding?

Enter: The Perfect Derma Peel.

This is a medium-depth peel designed to address several concerns at once, including:

  • Pigmentation

  • Acne and acne-related pigmentation

  • Uneven skin tone

  • Texture

  • Fine lines

  • Overall skin brightness and smoothness

It also contains glutathione and antioxidants, making it a great option when pigmentation and brightening are a major part of your skin goals.

This isn't a “peel and go back to work” situation.

You can expect approximately 3–5 days of peeling, and everyone’s peeling experience is a little different.

We also send you home with an aftercare kit so you know exactly how to care for your skin while it is going through the process.

For the best results, we typically recommend doing this as a series of two.

Which makes right now a perfect time to start.

4. Green Sea Peel: The Non-Acid Option

If you want the benefits of a deeper resurfacing treatment but you're looking for a non-acid option, our Green Sea Peel is one of my favorites.

This is a spicule-based treatment rather than a traditional acid peel.

The spicules create a prickly sensation as they penetrate into the skin, creating controlled stimulation and encouraging the skin's natural renewal process.

And yes — you will actually peel.

Typically, you can expect approximately 3–6 days of flaking and shedding, although everyone's skin responds differently.

Before your treatment, we have you use a specific two-week prep protocol to get your skin ready.

This includes an easy at-home leave-on spicule serum that prepares the skin for your treatment.

Then we perform the peel in office and let the skin do its thing.

I sometimes describe this as our “liquid microneedling” approach because we're creating that deeper stimulation without traditional needles.

And we can customize it even further.

Depending on your skin, we can incorporate ingredients like PDRN/salmon DNA or brightening actives to target specific concerns.

This can be an amazing option for:

  • Acne scarring

  • Pigmentation

  • Texture

  • Fine lines

  • Collagen renewal

  • Overall skin regeneration

It can also be used on areas like the chest when appropriate.

And Don't Forget What Happens at Home

Your treatments are only part of the equation.

Think of it as 20% what we do in the treatment room and 80% what you do at home.

What might change?

✨ Pigment correction Add targeted products if you're working on sun damage, discoloration or acne pigmentation.

✨ RetinalI ncrease your retinal use if your skin is ready. Retinal supports cell turnover, collagen production, texture and overall skin renewal. We love Hydrinity Retaxome for this.

✨ Exfoliation Add acids or peel pads a couple of times a week to support cell turnover and smoother, brighter skin.

But more isn't always better.

Even when we're doing corrective treatments, we still want to protect the barrier and manage inflammation.

Your routine can be simple:

AM: Cleanse → Serum → Moisturizer → SPFPM:

PM: Cleanse → Treatment serum/Retinal → Moisturizer

A few times a week: Exfoliation

That's it.

You don't need 12 products. You need the right products, used consistently with the correct treatment plan for your goals

That's why I always recommend starting with a skincare or med spa consultation.

We can look at your skin, talk through your goals, your timeline, your budget and how much downtime you're realistically comfortable with — and then create a plan that makes sense for you.

You don't have to know which treatment you need before you walk through our doors.

Fall is when we start doing the work.

With Love,

Kristen
